A first official look at Joaquin Phoenix and Josh Brolin in Inherent Vice, the upcoming crime drama movie directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Pynchon:
“In Los Angeles in 1970, drug-fueled detective Larry ‘Doc’ Sportello investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend.”
Besides Joaquin Phoenix and Josh Brolin, the cast also includes Owen Wilson, Katherine Waterston, Reese Witherspoon, Jena Malone, Joanna Newsom and Benicio del Toro.
The release date of Inherent Vice is set to January 9, 2015.
