Here’s a first official look at Actor Joaquin Phoenix in You Were Never Really Here, the upcoming drama mystery thriller movie written and directed by Lynne Ramsay based on the novel by Jonathan Ames:

Plot synopsis:
“A missing teenage girl. A brutal and tormented enforcer on a rescue mission.
Corrupt power and vengeance unleash a storm of violence that may lead to his awakening.”

Joaquin Phoenix kind of looks like Unabomber with that beard, doesn’t he?

Besides Joaquin Phoenix, the cast also includes Ekaterina Samsonov, Alessandro Nivola, Alex Manette, John Doman, and Judith Roberts.
