A first official look at The Short History of the Long Road, the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Ani Simon-Kennedy and starring Sabrina Carpenter, Steven Ogg, Danny Trejo, Maggie Siff, and Rusty Schwimmer:
“For teenage Nola (Sabrina Carpenter), home is the open road with her self-reliant father and their trusty van, two nomads against the world. When Nola’s rootless existence is turned upside-down, she realizes that life as an outsider might not be her only choice.”
She will need to take the wheel for the first time learning to own her grief, her past and her new destination… May this young lady find her own path!
The film has yet to get an official release date.

When tragedy strikes, Nola is confronted by the reality that life as an outsider may not be her only choice. She must engage with others to integrate herself into a society she has never known. As she slowly expands the relationships in her life, she is faced with the decision to get off the road for the first time, or to forge onward – with only her wits and memories as her road map.”
