The Adjustment Bureau is an upcoming sci-fi thriller movie based on Philip K. Dick’s science-fiction short story ‘The Adjustment Team’. The film is directed by George Nolfi. and starring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slattery, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp. It is set for a release on July 30, 2010.

Plot:
“Matt Damon will play David Norris, a charismatic congressman who seems destined for national political stardom and a Fordham University alumnus who was a basketball player while he was there. He meets a beautiful ballet dancer named Elise Sellas, played by Blunt, only to find strange circumstances keeping their sparks from catching fire. Norris discovers forces are at work to keep them apart, and he peels the layers to find out why. The action takes place in various places in Manhattan.”

Judging from the premise, I guess we won’t have that many flabbergasting special effects in this sci-fi movie… But a twisted plot may save the day!
