Thanks to Firstshowing we may take a look to some splendid pictures of Agora, the upcoming drama movie set in Roman Egyt, 391 A.D., starring Rachel Weisz as Hypatia the philosopher and Max Minghella as her Christian slave:
Agora is quite impressive knowing that they used a real set especially built on Malta to recreate Alexandria, and not the product of CGI tricks.
By the way in case you’re wondering: the Agora (or forum in their Roman equivalent) was an open place of assembly in ancient Greek city-states. We may still find the word as etymon of the word agoraphobia, the fear of critical public situations.
