Plot synopsis
“The story is set in the 1960s at the El Royale, a rundown hotel near California’s Lake Tahoe. It centers on a cast of characters whose own shady agendas will violently collide.”

– Chris Hemsworth as a charismatic cult leader who wants retrieve a follower that deserted him;
– Jeff Bridges as a convict acting as a priest hoping to find stolen cash he hid at the hotel years earlier;
– Cailee Spaeny as an impressionable Southern girl hiding out at the hotel;
– Cynthia Erivo as a down-on-her-luck singer who is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The release date of the movie Bad Times at the El Royale is set to October 5, 2018.
