A first official look at Booksmart, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Olivia Wilde (who’s making her directorial debut) based on a script by Emily Halpern, Sarah Haskins, and Katie Silberman and starring Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, Jessica Williams, Will Forte, Lisa Kudrow, and Jason Sudeikis:
“The film revolves around Amy (Kaitlyn Dever) and Molly (Beanie Feldstein), two academic superstars and best friends who, on the eve of their high school graduation, realize they should have worked less and played more. Determined not to fall short of their peers, the girls try to cram four years of fun into one night.
Told from a wildly original, fresh and modern perspective, Booksmart is an unfiltered comedy about high school friendships and the bonds we create that last a lifetime. Capturing the spirit of our times, the film is a coming of age story for a new generation.”
There’s nothing wrong with taking a break to seize the day from time to time!
