Director Tim Burton and Actor Johnny Depp are teaming up for the movie adaptation of Dark Shadows, the classic 1960s gothic TV soap opera. Besides the vampire Barnabas Collins, the original Dark Shadows show featured werewolves, ghosts, zombies, man-made monsters, witches, warlocks, time travel (both into the past and into the future), and a parallel universe.
Tim Burton’s Dark Shadow is said to include vampires, but no clue yet if the film will reunite all the monsters.
Filming of the Dark Shadows movie is set to start in Fall 2010. So the film will probably be released in 2011.

Only Johnny Depp could bring Barnabas Collins back to life!!! And under the direction of Tim Burton, this movie is going to be AMAZING!!!!! This dates me considerably, but I LOVED the TV series.
I know Johnny Depp will nail it, If they don’t get Angelique just right I’ll probably hate it. She was the best witch ever (Lara Parker). She’s still beautiful, they should give her a cameo.
