Director Ben Weathley (who helmed Free Fire and High-Rise) is set to helm Freak Shift, an upcoming action thriller based on a script he co-wrote with Amy Jump. Take a look to those pre-production pictures:

Plot synopsis:
“An all-guns-blazing sci -fi action thriller about a band misfits who hunt down and kill lethal nocturnal udnerground monsters.”

Looks like those misfits aren’t killing monsters just for fun. The yellow form (“Creture Destruction Docket”) indicates that they’re actually working for some organization called CPP (the acronym stands for Creature Pacification Control). Yep, those monsters have been around since quite long and there’s a special organization was created to get rid of them. Now you’re wondering how to become a CPP officer, aren’t you? Well, you have to be caught during curfew or want a jail sentence reduced. Are you sure you want to volunteer?

So far the cast includes Alicia Vikander, Armie Hammer, and Sasha Lane. Alicia Vikander is the lead female protagonist and Armie Hammer plays her love interest.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
