The movie Goosebumps performed rather well in theaters, the 2015 family comedy horror movie grossed indeed more than $150 million worldwide for a $58 million budget. And now Sony is set to develop a sequel. Director Rob Letterman is returning to helm the project based on a script by Darren Lemke (who co-wrote the first film).

No plot details revealed yet, but according to the online rumor the film will feature the theme park HorrorLand.

The release date of the movie Goosebumps 2 is set to September 21, 2018.
