Happy Tears is an upcoming R-rated drama movie written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein. The story revolves around two sisters trying to cope with their father’s dementia. The cast includes Demi Moore, Parker Posey, Ellen Barkin, and Rip Torn. The film will have a limited release on February 19, 2010.

Plot:
“Jayne (Parker Posey), a woman prone to self-aggrandizement, returns to her Wisconsin home and must deal with her bitter sister Laura (Demi Moore) and her father (Rip Torn), who suffers from a rare form of dementia. Laura is fed up with dealing with the hateful father.”

I bet Posey and Moore will make two crazy sisters on screen, as crazy as the father played by Rip Torn.
