Director Henry Selick, who once brought us The Nightmare Before Christmas, has been working on Coraline, an upcoming animated movie based on a children novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman. It scheduled to be released on February 6, 2009.

I suppose the marketing team pushed for showing up some colors, the precedent promotional material was indeed a bit too dark.
