Here’s a first official look at Here Comes The Grump, the upcoming fantasy family CG animated movie based on the 1969 animated TV series of the same name:
“The story revolves around Terry, a regular teenage boy, who has been magically transported to a far-away land. After meeting the ever so dizzy Princess Dawn, Terry agrees to help her ward off the evil deeds of a mean-spirited dragon-riding wizard called The Grump, even though he really just wants to find a way back home.”
The film is directed by Andres Couturier from a script by Jim Hecht, with designs by Craig Kellman, based on classic characters created by Mirisch-Geoffrey Depatie-Freleng Enterprises, makers of the Pink Panther series.
