Legend of the Guardians Movie

Plot:
“Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. The film is based on the first three books in the series.”

I’ll wait for the movie trailer of Legend of the Guardians, which will be shown in front of Alice in Wonderland, to have a better understanding of what to expect… Those pictures and the plot aren’t enough for me to get excited about the movie Legend of the Guardians… Is it a movie for kids? Or will it have a broader appeal? I guess if Zack Snyder (who once brought us 300) is directing the film, it will be interesting, but let’s wait for the trailer first.

To me, I think so far it looks amazing. I’ve read ever book of the series that it’s based off of, and it’s a magical story full of great characters who show magnificent courage, and who eventually succeed in their mission — to become Guardians of the Ga’Hoole Tree, and protect the King and Queen of the Tree. Happy Feet was a great movie, and I’m so happy that the people who made it are also making Legend of the Guardians because of how good Happy Feet was. Also, this is exactly how I pictured it when I was reading the series. The books are great, and I highly recommend them to any young teen or pre-teen, as that’s when I started reading them. So far, the movie looks like it’s going to be spectacular! Keep up the great work!
