Walt Disney Pictures is working on a sequel to the 1964 classic movie Mary Poppins. Yep, get ready for Mary Poppins 2. The sequel is officially titled Marry Poppins Returns. They’re eyeing a 2018 release.
Director Rob Marshall will helm the project based on a script by David Magee. Marc Shaiman is in charge of the score, and will write original songs with Scott Wittman. And Actress Emily Blunt is taking over the lead role as the magical nanny.

Julie Andrews did an amazing job, why do another. No one can compare to this movie or do a better job. Let it go and do not waste your money on this movie. I will personally not see this movie, the original was enough for me.
