A first official poster has been unveiled for Minecraft 2, the upcoming action adventure family fantasy movie sequel:

Plot synopsis:
“Steve and Alex venture further into the Overworld, discovering unexplored territories and encountering fresh challenges.”

Director Jared Hess is returning to helm the sequel based on a script he’s co-writing with Chris Galletta.

The release date of the movie Minecraft 2 is set to July 23, 2027.
