Disney is developing Moana, a new musical CG animated movie set in Polynesia (over 1,000 islands scattered over the central and southern Pacific Ocean). Here’s a concept art picture:
“Princess Moana is the daughter of the chief of her tribe. Coming from a long line of navigators she sets off for a fabled island with her hero, the demi God Maui. Along the voyage they battle the treacherous ocean and all which it hides, all the while learning what the power love between friends can accomplish.”
Actor Dwayne Johnson will lend his voice to Maui and Actress Naomi Sequeira will lend her voice to Moana Waialiki.

The release date of Moana is set to November 23, 2016.
