DRIB Movie Trailer

DRIB Movie 2017You may watch below the first official trailer of DRIB, the upcoming mockumentary drama movie written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli and starring Amir Asgharnejad, Brett Gelman, Adam Pearson, Annie Hamilton, Alexandra Marzella, Hugo Armstrong, Joe Hartzler, and Andrew Lauer:

DRIB
Plot synopsis:
“The film is a fiction/documentary hybrid that re-enacts the story of a failed violent marketing scheme for a well known energy drink. The film simultaneously exposes and revels in media manipulation as it explores the strange and painfully comic advertising process that took place in 2014 — with the person who ruined it all appearing in the role of himself. To avoid legal issues, the real energy drink brand has been replaced with our own: DRIB. The film tracks how art becomes commerce, how something fake can have real effects, and reveals inside information about an industry and the company that almost stopped the film from ever being made.”

Drib doesn’t sound as strong as Max Rager, the zombie beverage from iZombie. That said, Drib is still some dangerous stuff… Think twice before drinking energy drinks…

He’s got an office above a cab firm, a taste for cigarettes and bourbon, and a finely tuned moral compass that he keeps hidden behind a sharp cynicism. When Tommy walks into his office one morning to find high-class prostitute Melody seeking his help, he’s launched into a story that plays as an utterly original modern noir.”

Fast and Furious 8 trailer

Fast And Furious 8 - Family No MoreWe’ve got our hands on a brand new trailer of Fast and Furious 8 aka The fate of the Furious, the upcoming action thriller movie sequel starring Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood, and Helen Mirren:

THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS
Plot synopsis:
“With Dom (Vin Diesel) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia having retired from the game, and the rest of the crew exonerated, the team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into a world of crime he cannot seem to escape, causing him to betray those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.”

You know what? I think the franchise should just ditch Vin Diesel. He has become some sort of useless diva. The franchise would be better off it it was to focus on the crew with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham. Don’t you agree?

Release date: April 14, 2017.
