Spider-Man Homecoming – Spider-Man vs Vulture

It turns out the main villain in Spider-Man Homecoming is Vulture! Take a look to this new concept art picture, it was revealed at the Comic Con:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Spider-Man Homecoming - Vulture concept art

Plot synopsis:
“Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) tries to balance his life as a high school student while also being the hero Spider-Man.”

I can understand why they went for a rather minor villain. This new Spider-Man is still young, and the overall film is focusing on his life as a young hero. If he had to fight against a real big baddie there’d be no time to dwell on his life as Peter Parker.

The film is directed by Jon Watts and the cast includes Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Here’s a video of the Comic Con panel of Spider-Man Homecoming:

Anyway, the film will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
