Trailer of Persona Non Grata, the movie about the Japanese Schindler
Check out the trailer of Persona Non Grata (aka Sugihara Chiune), the upcoming biography drama movie directed by Japanese American Filmmaker Cellin Gluck about Chiune ‘Sempo’ Sugihara, the real-life Japanese diplomat who saved thousands of Jews from being killed by the Nazis during World War II:
“Chiune Sugihara (Toshiaki Karasawa) is a Japanese diplomat working in Lithuania. During the World War II, he attempts to save many Jews from Nazi Germany by issuing transit visas to Japan. The film depicts Sugihara’s life from the period when he was a student in Waseda University.”
