Extraction Movie trailer

Check out the first official trailer of Extraction, the upcoming action thriller movie directed by Steven C. Miller and starring Bruce Willis, Kellan Lutz, and Gina Carano:

EXTRACTION

A threat to all nations becomes a mission for one family.

You’re on their side or you’re in their way.

Plot:
“When a terrorist group kidnaps retired CIA field operative Leonard Turner (Bruce Willis), his son Harry Turner (Kellan Lutz), a government analyst who has been repeatedly turned down for field service, launches his own unsanctioned rescue operation. While evading highly skilled operatives, deadly assassins, and international terrorists, Harry finally puts his combat training to the test in a high stakes mission to find his father and to stop a terrorist plot.”

Kellan Lutz and Gina Carano are playing the lead characters in this film… From the trailer it feels like Bruce Willis is only playing a supporting role… Anyway, I’ll give the film a try.

Illumination presents:

SING

Auditions begin 2016.

From the creators of Despicable Me

Plot:
“Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, ‘Sing’ stars Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.
Five lead contestants emerge: A mouse (Seth MacFarlane) who croons as smoothly as he cons, a timid teenage elephant (Tori Kelly) with an enormous case of stage fright, an overtaxed mother (Reese Witherspoon) run ragged tending a litter of 25 piglets, a young gangster gorilla (Taron Egerton) looking to break free of his family’s felonies, and a punk-rock porcupine (Scarlett Johansson) struggling to shed her arrogant boyfriend and go solo. Each animal arrives under Buster’s marquee believing that this is their shot to change the course of their life.”

Take a look to the official logo of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, the upcoming science-fiction movie directed by Luc Besson and based on the 1967 French graphic novel “Valerian and Laureline”

VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS

Plot:
“Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Valerian has more in mind than a professional relationship with his partner- blatantly chasing after her with propositions of romance. But his extensive history with women, and her traditional values, drive Laureline to continuously rebuff him. Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.”

Luc Besson, who now heads Europacorp, previously brought us The Big Blue, Nikita, Leon, The Fifth Element, and Lucy. So there’s reason to hope that Valerian will a hell of an epic movie!

Maybe I’ll give a try to the original comic book it’s based on.

A Perfect Day Movie Trailer

A trailer of A Perfect Day, the upcoming comedy drama movie written and directed by Fernando Leon de Aranoa, has been released online, watch it below:

A PERFECT DAY
Plot:
“A group of aid workers tries to remove a cadaver from a well in an armed conflict zone. The body was thrown into the well to contaminate the water and cut the water supply to the local population. But circumstances soon turn a simple task into an impossible mission.
The workers cross the frenzied war landscape like guinea pigs in a maze, and there might be no way out. A war inside another war, in which the only enemy could be irrationality.
The crisis they’re trying to solve is humanitarian, but they’re only human. Humor, drama, tenderness, routine, danger, hope: it all fits into a perfect day.
This film’s only genre is life itself. Like a Russian doll, it’s a drama inside a comedy, inside a road movie, inside a war movie.”

Actor Tim Robbins is totally stealing the show!

Here’s the film poster:

A PERFECT DAY

The cast includes Benicio Del Toro, Tim Robbins, Olga Kurylenko, Melanie Thierry, and Fedja Stukan.
