Plot:

Based on the worldwide best-selling book series.”

The film is a movie adaptation of the first opus of The Mortal Instruments, the young-adult fantasy novel series by Cassandra Clare. If the film performs well in theaters we may expect sequels. The studios are indeedhoping to emulate the success of the Twilight Saga.

The release date of The Mortal Instruments City of Bones is set for August 23, 2013.
