The film is directed by Adam Shankman and is starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Ackerman, Mary J. Blige, Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise.

A first poster of Playing The Field, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Gabriele Muccino and starring Gerard Butler, has surfaced online:
