Edge of Darkness Poster

Plot:
“As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.”

The plot of Edge of Darkness may sound generic, but Mel Gibson has enough appeal for this movie to catch my attention.

Knight and Day Teaser

This artwork of Knight and Day must have been influenced by the James Bond movies! Well let’s hope that Tom Cruise will deliver his own great version of Agent 007 then!

A movie trailer of Knight an Day was shown in front of Avatar in a few theaters so it will probably show up online quite soon!

Back-up Plan Poster

Take a look to the new movie poster of the Back-up Plan, the upcoming romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin:

(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)

Plot:
“After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone. On the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) – a man with real possibilities.
Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan commits fully and says he’s in. Never before has love seen a courtship where a wild night of sex involves three in a bed – Stan, Zoe and the ever-present massive pregnancy pillow. Or, where ‘date night’ consists of being the ‘focal point’ at a near-stranger’s water birth which does for kiddie pools what ‘Jaws’ did for swimming in the ocean. The real pregnancy test comes when both of them realize they really don’t know each other outside of hormonal chaos and birth preparations. With the nine month clock ticking, both begin to experience cold feet. Anyone can fall in love, get married and have a baby but doing it backwards in hyper-drive could be proof positive that they were made for each other.”

Would could resist to Jennifer Lopez’s cute smile? Count me in for the Back-up Plan!

New Posters for The Book of Eli

The poster designer seems unable to decide if Eli’s sword should be on his left or right side on those posters of the Book of Eli:

The last trailer of the Book of Eli was a bit disappointing, but I still want to believe in Denzel Washington: maybe his performance will save the Book of Eli movie!

Origin Movie

The latest poster of Creation, aka Origin, is even more beautiful than the previous ones:

(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)

Origin Movie

The movie Creation gives us an interesting look at the family life of Charles Darwin, a genius who enlightened mankind!

The film has already been released in Europe. So the US release seems to come quite late, on January 22, 2010. It must have been postponed because of those stupid creationist bigots… And according to IMDb, the US working title will be Origin.
:)

Bounty Hunter Movie

The Bounty Hunter is an upcoming comedy movie directed by Andy Tennant. The film is starring Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston. It is set for a release on March 19, 2010. Here below the first official teaser poster of Bounty Hunter:

Update:

BOUNTY HUNTER movie trailer

Bounty Hunter movieBOUNTY HUNTER

It’s a job. It isn’t personal.
Well, maybe a little…

Plot:
“The film centers on Milo, a bounty hunter (Gerard Butler) hired to retrieve his ex-wife Cassidy Daley, who has skipped bail.”

Gerard Butler’s previous comedy, The Ugly Truth, was quite enjoyable, and Jennifer Aniston (even if Brad Pitt dumped her for Angelina Jolie) does look good, so I’ll give a try to the Bounty Hunter movie.
:)

Leonardo DiCaprio Inception

Take a look to this poster of Inception, the upcoming mind-blowing sci-fi movie directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio:

Inception Movie Poster

Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays the role of a CEO guy, is hunting in the phantasmagoric world of Inception!

Here’s the trailer of Inception if you haven’t seen it yet:

INCEPTION

Plot:
“Inception is about entering peoples’ minds/dreams. A technology to do so has been developed and is done through an injection. DiCaprio and his team work to enter the minds of other characters in order to retrieve/plant information.”

I always get goosebumps when I watch the trailer of Inception, must because of that intimidating music! Let’s hope that the soundtrack of Inception will be as good!

The movie Inception will be released on July 16, 2010.

And here’s a clip that was shown at the Comic Con, now in better quality:

Big Dady proves to Hit Girl that there is nothing to fear
when one is wearing a bullet proof jacket.

This scene of Kick-Ass is maybe funny in the context of the movie, but if it was real, that dad should be sent in jail right away!
;-P

Squeakquel Movie

Alvin and his brothers managed to get rid of the Chipettes on this new poster of Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, aka the Squeakquel:

“Because of a freak accident involving Alvin and Dave Seville, they go to live with Dave Seville’s cool cousin Toby and must enroll in school just like every other kid. School presents new challenges to these rock stars, like dealing with peer pressure, school sports and of course, girls!
By ‘girls’ we mean the Chipettes who are managed by Ian Hawke, the Chipmunks greedy former manager who wants to turn them into the next big thing. At the outset, there is a rivalry between the Chipettes and the Chipmunks but in the end they realize that they make great friends and a great musical team!”
