Plot:
“Shrek (Mike Myers) has become a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all of Rumpelstiltskin’s mischief in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love and family.”
The movie Shrek 4, aka Shrek Forever After, will be directed by Mike Mitchell and is set for a release in may 2010.
I am not impatient at all to watch the movie Shrek 4 but my kids kind of like the green ogre’s fart jokes… Think twice before having kids!

Hearing some negative buzz about the movie GI Joe, it may explain why the studios aren’t investing more to promote the movie if they think it’s going to be a flop…

Focus Features have released the official theatrical poster of 9, the upcoming sci-fi animated movie directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted):
The back-story of 9 has begun to unfold through the voice of the film’s Scientist on Facebook (here), where you can also take a look to the Machine that will help rebuild the Nation and be the first to see his designs that will change the world.
The work done by the scientist will bring the rag dolls, the heroes of the movie 9, to life.

The squirrel Scrat is going to meet a mate in Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the latest opus of Ice Age. Her name is Scratte. She is a female saber-tooth squirrel a lot more intelligent than Scrat but Love could blossom between them. But there is still an acorn of contention:

Let’s hope they’ll be able to overcome this acorn greed…
Ice Age 3 hits theaters on July 4th, go watch the movie in Digital 3D, just to fully understand how puny mammoths are compared to dinosaurs!

This new Transformers 2 movie poster makes me want to buy some Transformers action figures:
Hell yeah, I’d play like a kid with my Transformers Toy! The giant robots Bumblebee and Optimus Prime look awesome on this poster of Transformer Revenge of the Fallen.
On a side-note: I’d be glad to have some fun time with sexy Megan Fox (who plays the role of Mickaela) too, and I don’t think we’d play kids game… but don’t tell to my wife!

Raimi also acknowledges that there were too many villains in the third opus, so I guess that Spiderman won’t have more than 2 main nemesis in the fourth movie.
I’d be fine with both Morbius and the Lizzard in Spiderman 4. What about you? What villain would you rather see in the movie Spiderman 4?

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio go the lead in Shutter Island, Martin Scorsese’s latest movie based the book written by Dennis Lehane. Here below a new banner poster of Shutter Island unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival:
