The Exception Movie Trailer

The Exception Movie 2017Thanks to A24 here’s the first official trailer of The Exception, the upcoming period drama movie directed by David Leveaux and starring Lily James, Jai Courtney, Christopher Plummer, Janet McTeer, Ben Daniels, and Eddie Marsan:

THE EXCEPTION

A woman hiding a secret.

A soldier serving his country.

Love is the exception.

Plot synopsis:
“A mother must protect her family on Christmas Day from a demented stranger who is hell-bent on tearing them apart.
Matriarch Diane (genre veteran Dee Wallace) has invited her adult children to celebrate one last Christmas in their family home before she sells up and heads to Europe. Amid all the celebrations and domestic dramas, a mysterious stranger calls. Disfigured and cloaked, they invite him in until his extreme religious motives and anti-abortion message launches a rollercoaster of splatter and unearths shattering secrets.”

Lily James and Jai Courtney do make for a lovely couple, but this trailer kind of lacks passion… Let’s hope it won’t be missing from the film!

The movie The Exception is set to open in theaters on June 2, 2017.

Tom Holland - Spider-Man HomecomingSpider Man Homecoming New Pic

Plot synopsis:
“A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine — distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man — but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.”

And here’s an additional promo pictures showing his suit upgrades:

Spider Man Homecoming - Suit Upgrades

Peter Parker’s Little Helper
The detachable chest piece transforms into a drone and sends information back to the suit.

GPS Tracking System
The classic spider tracer has been upgraded with a holographic display and complex GPS system.

Upgraded Web Shooter
Enhanced web shooters with multi-settings, a variety of webbing and a laser targeting system.

Explosive Web Snares
The snares automatically deploy upon approaching targets.

Web Wings
Spider-Man’s web wings act like a glider — a kid’s fantasy come to movie life.

Expressive Eyes
The new Spidey vision shows emotion but also reflects different functions of the suit. Flip to a different spider mode and the eyes will display the change.

Auto-Fit Suit
The suit’s auto-fit adjusts to the user, but that doesn’t mean anyone can slip it on. It’s adaptable “within reason,” director Jon Watts warns.

Had I had Spider-Man’s powers when I was a teen I doubt I would have become a superhero, I think I would have turned to the dark side. And you? What would you have done?
