Disney revealed the voice cast of Moana, the upcoming awesome CG adventure fantasy animated movie directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and released official character descriptions, check them out below:

The title character Moana (vocied by Auli’I Cravalho), a teenager who dreams of becoming a master wayfinder.

Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), half god, half mortal, all awesome.

HeiHei (voiced by Alan Tudyk) a dumb rooster who accidently stows away on Moana’s canoe

Pua is Moana’s loyal pet pig with puppy energy and an innocent puppy brain.

Chief Tui (voiced by Temuera Morrison), Moana’s father, the gregarious and well-respected leader of the people of Motunui Island. And Sina (voiced by Nicole Scherzinger), Moana’s mother, who always has her daughter’s back. Playful, sharp and strong-willed, Sina appreciates Moana’s longing to be on the water, but also wants to protect her daughter from the fabled dangers beyond the reef.

Gramma Tala (voiced by Rachel House), Moana’s confidante and best friend, who shares her granddaughter’s special connection to the ocean.

The Kakamora, an intense team of crazy, coconut-armored pirates who will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Tamatoa (voiced by jemaine Clement), a self-absorbed, 50-foot crab who lives in Lalotai, the realm of monsters.

Plot synopsis:
“A young woman (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) uses her navigational talents to set sail for a fabled island. Joining her on the adventure is her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui (Dwayne Johnson).”
