Love Ryan Reynolds… but I think they should have cast someone else… The plot of Criminal shares too many similarities with the plot of Selfless in which Reynolds had the lead role. What do you think?

BEN-HUR

First to finish. Last to die.

In theaters and Real 3D.

Well, this trailer of Ben-Hur was rather underwhelming. It doesn’t look bad, but since they’re doing a remake of an iconic movie, one would expect some really fresh new take on Ben-Hur and not just a modern rehash…

Anyway, the whole thing will be entertaining, I guess…

The film will hit theaters on August 12, 2016.

Queen of the Desert Trailer

There’s a brand new trailer for Queen of the Desert, the latest drama movie written and directed by Werner Herzog and starring Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Damian Lewis, and James Franco, watch it below:

Plot synopsis:
“A curious and adventurous young woman eager to explore the world outside of England, Gertrude Bell (Nicole Kidman) goes to the British embassy in Tehran where she quickly falls in love with a secretary of the embassy, Henry Cadogan (James Franco). This sparks the beginning of a life-long adventure among the beautiful but misunderstood peoples and cultures of the Middle East. Along the way, her path intersects with archaeologist T.E. Lawrence (Robert Pattinson) also known as Lawrence of Arabia, and Major Charles Doughty-Wylie (Damian Lewis), the British Consul General in the Ottoman Empire.
The story of QUEEN OF THE DESERT is based on the true-life story of Gertrude Bell, who was a British political officer and archaeologist but ultimately a trailblazer on her terms. The story details the extraordinary adventures of Bell wrestling with the conflicts of love and tragedy, enemy and friend, and foreign and familiar as she sought to understand and unify people from different cultures.”

I wish they would not reduce Gertrude Bell to her romantic interests… and focus more on her work.

Still no official U.S. release date… I wonder why it’s taking so long, it doesn’t look that bad. What do you think?
