Update – About those coordinates at the end of of this trailer of Midnight Special:
– I searched the coordinates 34.1768, 118.3523 in Google Map but it leads to some lost place in China, so I was confused.
– But then LordObama, a clever fellow movie fan over at IMDb, pointed out that we should actually search for 34.1768, -118.3523. And the corrected coordinates points to someone’s backyard in Burbank, California.
– Warner bros does have a big facility in Burbank. But I still fail to see the connection with the film.
– I also learned that a late-night musical variety series that aired on NBC during the 1970s and called “The Midnight Special” was produced in the Burbank Studios (formerly known as NBC Studios).
And I then stumbled upon a song performed by Genesis at the show: “watcher of the skies” and the lyrics could be related to the film, not sure.
Any idea?
