The film is starring Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton, Kirsten Dunst, Adam Driver, Jaeden Lieberher, Sam Shepard, Bill Camp, Scott Haze and Paul Sparks.

Release date: March 18, 2016.

Update – About those coordinates at the end of of this trailer of Midnight Special:
– I searched the coordinates 34.1768, 118.3523 in Google Map but it leads to some lost place in China, so I was confused.
– But then LordObama, a clever fellow movie fan over at IMDb, pointed out that we should actually search for 34.1768, -118.3523. And the corrected coordinates points to someone’s backyard in Burbank, California.
– Warner bros does have a big facility in Burbank. But I still fail to see the connection with the film.
– I also learned that a late-night musical variety series that aired on NBC during the 1970s and called “The Midnight Special” was produced in the Burbank Studios (formerly known as NBC Studios).
And I then stumbled upon a song performed by Genesis at the show: “watcher of the skies” and the lyrics could be related to the film, not sure.

Any idea?

BORN TO BE BLUE

Discover what i takes to become an icon!

Plot synopsis:
“Ethan Hawke lights up the screen as jazz legend Chet Baker, whose tumultuous life is thrillingly reimagined with wit, verve, and style to burn. In the 1950s, Baker was one of the most famous trumpeters in the world, renowned as both a pioneer of the West Coast jazz scene and an icon of cool. By the 1960s, he was all but washed up, his career and personal life in shambles due to years of heroin addiction. In his innovative anti-biopic, director Robert Budreau zeroes in on Baker’s life at a key moment in the 1960s, just as the musician attempts to stage a hard-fought comeback, spurred in part by a passionate romance with a new flame (Carmen Ejogo). Creatively blending fact with fiction and driven by Hawke’s virtuoso performance, Born to Be Blue unfolds with all the stylistic brio and improvisatory genius of great jazz.”
