Norm of the North Movie Clip

We’ve got our hands on a first preview clip of Norm of the North, the upcoming CG adventure comedy animated movie directed by Trevor Wall:

Plot synopsis:
“A polar bear of many words, Norm (Rob Schneider)’s greatest gripe is simple: there is no room for tourists in the Arctic. But when a maniacal developer threatens to build luxury condos in his own backyard, Norm does what all normal polar bears would do…he heads to New York City to stop it. With a cast of ragtag lemmings at his side, Norm takes on the big apple, big business and a big identity crisis to save the day.”

The number of tourists travelling to the Artic is still relatively small. But mass tourism is developing. If Norm and his friends keep working on their show the word will spread and they will become famous for sure!

In theaters: January 15, 2016.

This new trailer of Zootopia, the upcoming 3D CG adventure animated movie from Disney, gives us a better look at the gleaming animal city where the story takes place:

Looks like this forest and its ghosts are flouting the laws of physics…

The Adderall Diaries movie starring James Franco

Here’s a first official look at James Franco in The Adderall Diaries, the upcoming crime-thriller movie written and directed by Pamela Romanowsky based on the book of the same name by Stephen Elliott:

Plot synopsis:
“Writer and Adderall enthusiast Stephen Elliott reaches a low point when his estranged father resurfaces, claiming that Stephen has fabricated much of the dark childhood that that fuels his writing. Adrift in the precarious gray area of memory, Stephen is led by three sources of inspiration: a new romance, the best friend who shares his history, and a murder trial that reminds him more than a little of his own story.”

Amber heard is really cute on that picture, but James Franco looks like a famish toad…

Anyway, for those who don’t know what Adderall is, here’s a description from Wikipedia:

Adderall is prescribed in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance and cognitive enhancer, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant.

Besides James Franco, the film is also starring Amber Heard, Ed Harris, Christian Slater, Cynthia Nixon.

The film has yet to get an official release date.

I’ve just spotted this new preview clip of The Forest, the upcoming horror movie directed by Jason Zada and starring Natalie Dormer:

An iron ore deposit may indeed cause a compass needle to wobble because the local magnetic field may fluctuate around it. But maybe there are ghosts at work here? What do you think?

We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Hunt for the Wilderpeople, the upcoming comedy movie directed by New Zealand Filmmaker Taika Waititi (who’s set to helm Thor 3 Ragnarok) and starring Julian Dennison, Sam Neill, Rima Te Wiata, Rachel House, and Oscar Kightley:

Hunt for the Wilderpeople – Ricky (Julian Dennison) and Hec (Sam Neill)

Plot synopsis:
“Ricky is a defiant young city kid who finds himself on the run with his cantankerous foster uncle in the wild New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together to survive in this heartwarming adventure comedy.”

Hard to recognize Actor Sam Neil on this picture… I thought it was Actor Christopher Lee (who portayed evil wizard Saruman in the Lord of the Rings movie franchise), lol.

Update – An interview with the crew:

The director and cast of ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ joke about the treachery they went through while shooting the film, comparing it to the conditions of the shoot. “We’re out in the elements, it was cold, borderline illegal having a twelve-year-old in those elements for so long,” jokes director Taika Waititi of shooting ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Take a look to the first official pictures of The Fundamentals of Caring (aka The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving), the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Rob Burnett and based on the novel by Jonathan Evison:

Sounds like a role tailor-made for Paul Rudd!

The film is starring Paul Rudd, Craig Roberts, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Ehle, Megan Ferguson, and Frederick Weller.
