Here’s the official trailer of CHi-Raq (yep, the film’s title is a portmanteau of “Chicago” and “Iraq), the upcoming drama movie directed by Spike Lee and starring Nick Cannon, Teyonah Parris, Anya Engel-Adams, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, and Dave Chappelle:

Plot:
“A modern day adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes, set against the backdrop of gang violence in Chicago. After the murder of a child by a stray bullet, a group of women led by Lysistrata organize against the on-going violence in Chicago’s Southside creating a movement that challenges the nature of race, sex and violence in America and around the world.”

Lysistrata is definitely a woman of like no other!

The trailer doesn’t look bad, but I am not sure yet why the online word is so excited about this film… I guess I need to see more footage and learn more about the film… Or the online world is wrong?

Disney just released a first official teaser trailer of Alice Through The Looking Glass, the upcoming sequel to Alice in Wodnerland:

The trailer feels like an ad by the Hong Kong Tourism Board… I don’t care much about Hon Kong and its flashy skyscraper, but Jamie Chung is cute.

Anyway, the release date of the movie Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong is set to February 12th, 2016.
