Trailer of Room starring Brie Larson

Check out this new moving trailer of Room, the upcoming drama movie directed by Lenny Abrahamson and starring Brie Larson:

ROOM

“This drama tells the extraordinary story of Jack, a spirited 5 year-old who is looked after by his loving and devoted Ma. Like any good mother, Ma dedicates herself to keeping Jack happy and safe, nurturing him with warmth and love and doing typical things like playing games and telling stories. However, they are trapped in a windowless, 10-by-10-foot space, which Ma has euphemistically named “Room.” As Jack’s curiosity about their situation grows, and Ma’s resilience reaches its breaking point, they enact a risky plan to escape, ultimately bringing them face-to-face with what may turn out to be the scariest thing yet: the real world.”

The trailer may give away the whole story, but I still feel like seeing the full movie because there’s here a compelling story and convincing acting.

Besides Brie Larson the cast also includes Jacob Tremblay, William H. Macy, Joan Allen, and Sean Bridgers.

Demolition Movie Trailer

You may watch below the official trailer of Demolition, the upcoming drama movie directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Naomi Watts, Chris Cooper, Heather Lind, and Judah Lewis:

DEMOLITION
Plot:
“A successful investment banker, Davis (Jake Gyllenhaal), struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash. Despite pressure from his father-in-law (Chris Cooper) to pull it together, Davis continues to unravel. What starts as a complaint letter to a vending machine company turns into a series of letters revealing startling personal admissions. Davis’ letters catch the attention of customer service rep Karen (Naomi Watts) and, amidst emotional and financial burdens of her own, the two strangers form an unlikely connection. With the help of Karen and her son (Judah Lewis), Davis starts to rebuild, beginning with the demolition of the life he once knew.”

Looks like we have a quite interesting story here! And I love Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance, altough at times it feels like he’s serving us the ghost of Louis Bloom, the character he played in Nightcrawler.

The release date of Demolition is set to April 8, 2016.
