There’s nothing honorable about those so-called “honor killings”! The barbarians who live by those rules and kill women (daughters, sisters, cousins, or else) should be beheaded!

The Double Movie Trailer – Directed by Richard Ayoade and Starring Jesse Eisenberg

Yet a new trailer of Richard Ayoade’s The Double, the upcoming comedy drama thriller movie starring Jesse Eisenberg (who played the role of Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network, and who’;s set to play the role of Lex Luthor in man of Steel 2:

He is overlooked at work, scorned by his mother, and ignored by the woman of his dreams, Hannah (played by Mia Wasikowska). He feels powerless to change any of these things. The arrival of a new co-worker, James, serves to upset the balance. James is both Simon’s exact physical double and his opposite – confident, charismatic and good with women. Almost Human Season 1 Episode 12Thanks to Fox here’s the trailer of “Beholder”, the next episode of the science-fiction TV series Almost Human:

Almost Human 1.12 – Beholder

Almost Human S1x12 Beholder
Episode Summary:
When Detective Kennex and Dorian investigate the murder of a chrome, there are no signs of trauma other than a very small pinprick on the back of his neck. As the investigation unfolds, it’s revealed that the suspect is tapping into the DNA of his victims in pursuit of perfection.

I do like Almost Human, it’s a great TV show. But they need to reveal a bit more about the world of Kennex and Dorian. For example, i’d like to know more about chromes (genetically modified humans)… And what about that damn mysterious wall in the city? We still don’t know!

She is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth.”

So far it looks like an artsy sci-fi movie from the 1960’s or 1970’s. Well, am willing to give it a try!

“David Portnoy, a 15-year-old birding fanatic, thinks that he’s made the discovery of a lifetime. So, on the eve of his father’s remarriage, he escapes on an epic road trip with his best friends to solidify their place in birding history.”

A nugget of wisdom from Lawrence Konrad, the character played by Actor Ben Kingsley:

“Absolutely anyone can be a birder.. except for blind people I suppose.”

Two posters of the film:

The release date of A Birder’s Guide to Everything is set to March 21, 2014.

Trailer of Bad Country starring Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe

Check out the official trailer of Bad Country, an upcoming thriller drama movie directed by Chris Brinker and starring Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe:

BAD COUNTRY
Plot:
“Inspired by real events, BAD COUNTRY is a gritty Louisiana set crime drama. Detective Bud Carter’s investigations lead to the arrest of Jesse Weiland, a contract killer from a criminal syndicate. Weiland, facing life in prison and losing his family, puts his trust in Carter and becomes an informant.”

Judging fromt his trailer, Bad Country should be an interesting movie. I wish we’d see Willem Dafoe more often in movies. He’s a great actor! Matt Dillon is talented too, but not as much as Willem Dafoe.

Here’s the DVD cover:

(Click on the poster to enlarge.)

Besides Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe, the cast also includes Neal McDonough, Amy Smart, and Tom Berenger.

The film will be released straight to DVD and Blu-Ray on March 10, 2014.

New Trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2

You may watch below the latest trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the upcoming action superhero movie sequel directed by Marc Webb:

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2
Plot:
“It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.”

Looks to the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man will be even better than the film. Actually I feel like it could well be the best Spider-Man movie ever! Sorry Tobey Maguire (who held the role of Spider-Man in the previous franchise) but Andre Garfield totally rules!

The film will open in theaters on May 2, 2014.

3 Clips of The Pirate Fairy

We’ve got our hands on three prview clips of The Pirate Fairy, the upcoming animated movie directed by Peggy Holmes for DisneyToon Studios:

The Pirate Fairy – I guess he thinks the blue dust is just too powerful

The Pirate Fairy – Captain Zarina

The Pirate Fairy – To our cunning captain!
Plot:
“When a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina steals Pixie Hollow’s all-important Blue Pixie Dust, and flies away to join forces with the pirates of Skull Rock, Tinker Bell and her fairy friends must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to return it to its rightful place. However, in the midst of their pursuit of Zarina, Tink’s world is turned upside down. She and her friends find that their respective talents have been switched and they have to race against time to retrieve the Blue Pixie Dust and return home to save Pixie Hollow.”

The CG animation doesn’t look that great, but I’d watch the film for its funny characters.

The release date of The Pirate Fairy is set to April 1, 2014.
