Plot:
“Introverted Sally Hurst has just moved in with her father Alex and his girlfriend Kim when she realizes that their sprawling estate holds its fair share of secrets. When Sally accidentally opens the gateway that kept the creatures locked up tight, she realizes that in order to prevent them from destroying her family is to convince her skeptical father than monsters really exist.”

Just imagine watching this movie in a dark theater: it’s going to be creepy like hell!

Here’s the first official movie trailer 0f 50/50, the upcoming drama comedy movie movie directed by Jonathan Levine and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Anjelica Huston:

“Inspired by personal experiences, 50/50 is an original story about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen star as best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis. Rogen also serves as producer, along with Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin. Jonathan Levine directs from a script by Will Reiser. ‘We worked with Will on Da Ali G show, and it was shortly after that we learned he was sick’, Rogen recalls. ‘As shocking, sad, confusing and generally screwed up as it was; we couldn’t ignore that because we were so ill-equipped to deal with the situation, funny things kept happening. Cancer may sound like a daunting topic for a comedy movie. But the 50/50 team managed to make movie that’s touching but still funny. I’m especially impressed with Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s performance: he’s going to demonstrate once more all the talent he got.

The movie 50/50 will be released in theaters on September 30, 2011.

Besides Rachel Weisz, the cast also includes Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci, and David Strathairn. The film will be released on August 6, 2011.
