A brand new TV spot for Crazy Stupid Love, the upcoming comedy movie starring Steve Carell:
CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE
At any age, in every generation love can make you crazy.
Plot:
“Crazy Stupid Love is an ensemble comedy centering around a father (Steve Carell), his adulteress wife (Julianne Moore), his new wingman (Ryan Gosling), and what happens when he attempts to put his unraveled life back together.”
As long as you don’t get psycho because of love it’s a good thing that spices up life.

Nature’s biggest secret will be unlocked in the Zookeeper, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Frank Coraci and starring Kevin James:
Plot:
“The animals at one particular zoo decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zookeeper gain the attention of one particular woman.”
Animals can definitely talk! You just need to to be open-minded and to listen carefully. Not sure plants talk though, they probably listen, but don’t expect them to talk back to you any soon.

Comments Off on Trailer of One Day starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess
We’ve got our hands on the UK trailer of One Day, the upcoming romantic drama movie directed by Lone Scherfig and starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess that’s set to open in theaters on August 19, 2011:
Plot:
“After one day together – July 15th, 1988, their college graduation – Emma Morley (Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess of Across the Universe) begin a friendship that will last a lifetime. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground.
For the next two decades, key moments of their relationship are experienced over several July 15ths in their lives. Together and apart, we see Dex and Em through their friendship and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears. Somewhere along their journey, these two people realize that what they are searching and hoping for has been there for them all along. As the true meaning of that one day back in 1988 is revealed, they come to terms with the nature of love and life itself.”
Haven’t read the book (written by David Nicholls) the film is based on. So I don’t know if there’s a happy end to this story. I hope so though! Because there’s no denying that Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess make a lovely couple on screen: let them love each other for God’s sake!

Oscar winners Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts reunite for a dramatic comedy about how the hard knocks from today’s recession inspire one everyday guy to undergo a personal reinvention: Larry Crowne. Watch below a new international movie trailer of Larry Crowne:
LARRY CROWNE
Plot:
“Until he was downsized, affable, amiable Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he’s worked since his time in the Navy. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over. There he becomes part of a colorful community of outcasts all trying to find a better future for themselves… often moving around town in a herd of scooters. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher Mercedes Tainot (Julia Roberts), who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband.
The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.”
I have profound respect and admiration for those people who, after years in the corporate world, decide to go back to school. It’s not that easy to get back to study: it requires commitment and a strong will. Do you think you could go back to school to learn a new trade if you had to?
Besides Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, the movie Larry Crowne is also starring Bryan Cranston, Cedric the Entertainer and Taraji P. Henson. The film will open in theaters on July 1, 2011.

Here’s the first official movie trailer 0f 50/50, the upcoming drama comedy movie movie directed by Jonathan Levine and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Anjelica Huston:
50/50
Plot:
“Inspired by personal experiences, 50/50 is an original story about friendship, love, survival and finding humor in unlikely places. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen star as best friends whose lives are changed by a cancer diagnosis. Rogen also serves as producer, along with Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin. Jonathan Levine directs from a script by Will Reiser. ‘We worked with Will on Da Ali G show, and it was shortly after that we learned he was sick’, Rogen recalls. ‘As shocking, sad, confusing and generally screwed up as it was; we couldn’t ignore that because we were so ill-equipped to deal with the situation, funny things kept happening. Will got better, and when he did, we thought the best way to pull something good out of the situation was to get him to write a screenplay. Ideally we wanted to make a film that would be as funny, sad, and hopefully as honest as the experience we went through. As soon as the script was completed, it quickly became a passion project for all of us. It helped us come to terms with Will’s struggle as well as our own experiences’. 50/50 is the story of a guy’s transformative and, yes, sometimes funny journey to health. 50/50 draws its emotional core from Will Reiser’s own experience with cancer and reminds us that friendship and love, no matter what bizarre turns they take, are the greatest healers.”
Cancer may sound like a daunting topic for a comedy movie. But the 50/50 team managed to make movie that’s touching but still funny. I’m especially impressed with Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s performance: he’s going to demonstrate once more all the talent he got.
The movie 50/50 will be released in theaters on September 30, 2011.

A new movie trailer of Whistleblower, the upcoming drama movie directed by Larysa Kondracki and starring Rachel Weisz, has been released online:
WHISTLEBLOWER

“Inspired by actual events, Kathy (Academy Award(R) winner Rachel Weisz) is an American police officer who takes a job working as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk. Directed by first time filmmaker Larysa Kondracki.”
Did they release this trailer of the Whistleblower because the war criminal Radko Mladic, aka the Butcher of Bosnia, has been arrested in Serbia the other day? Or it this just a coincidence?
Besides Rachel Weisz, the cast also includes Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci, and David Strathairn. The film will be released on August 6, 2011.

Comments Off on Clip of Taylor Lautner’s Abduction
Actor Taylor Lautner demonstrates his fighting skills in this first preview clip of Abduction, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by John Singleton:
Abduction – Fight in a train
Plot:
“For as long as he can remember, Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) has had the uneasiest feeling that he’s living someone else’s life. When he stumbles upon an image of himself as a little boy on a missing persons website, all of Nathan’s darkest fears come true: he realizes his parents are not his own and his life is a lie, carefully fabricated to hide something more mysterious and dangerous than he could have ever imagined.
Just as he begins to piece together his true identity, Nathan is targeted by a team of trained killers, forcing him on the run with the only person he can trust, his neighbor, Karen (Lily Collins). Every second counts as Nathan and Karen race to evade an army of assassins and federal operatives. But as his opponents close in, Nathan realizes that the only way he’ll survive and solve the mystery of his elusive biological father is to stop running and take matters into his own hands.”
The fighting doesn’t look that good, but the whole scene feels like it was taken from a TV series…
