Two clips of the Lovely Bones, the upcoming drama movie directed by Peter Jackson and starring Soirse Ronan, Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz, are now available:
The buzz around The Lovely Bones isn’t that great so far. But that’s probably because people are comparing the film to the book it’s based on. I haven’t read Alice Sebold’s novel, so I guess it’s better to appreciate this decent movie.

Watch this new hilarious trailer of Youth in Revolt, the upcoming comedy starring Michael Cera:
YOUTH IN REVOLT
Plot:
“While his trailer trash parents teeter on the edge of divorce, 14-year-old Nick sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she’ll be the one to take away his virginity.”
Nick (Michael Cera) is really determined to conquer the heart of that girl! He even try to set a building ablaze! Not a role model, but his pathetic misdemeanor is so funny to watch.

Greenberg is an upcoming movie written and directed by Noah Baumbach. It is starring Ben Stiller, Greta Gerwig, Rhys Ifans, Mark Duplass, Brie Larson, Juno Temple , and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The film is set for a release on March 12, 2010. Here below the first official movie trailer of Greenberg:
GREENBERG
Plot:
“At a crossroads in his life, Roger Greenberg (Ben Stiller) ends up housesitting at his brother’s home in Los Angeles. There, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with his brother’s assistant Florence (Greta Gerwig), an aspiring singer. Florence and Greenberg’s encounters lead to an uncertain and wonderfully vulnerable courtship.”
The movie Greenberg is more drama than comedy: I am quite surprised to see Stiller in this role. I wonder how the film is going to turn out. Just judging from the trailer of Greenberg, it could be an interesting movie.

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are back together for the movie Universal Soldier 3, aka Universal Soldier Regeneration. The film is directed by John Hyams and is set for a direct-to-DVD release on DVD February 2, 2010. Here below the official movie trailer of Universal Soldier 3:
UNIVERSAL SOLDIER 3
Plot:
“With stolen top-secret technology, terrorists have created a next-generation Universal Soldier – an elite fighter genetically altered into a programmable killing machine. With this UniSol (Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei The Pit Bull Arlovski) leading the way, they seize the crippled Chernobyl nuclear reactor, threatening to unleash a lethal radioactive cloud. The only one who can stop them is Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a UniSol who’s been decommissioned for years. Reactivated and retrained, Deveraux must make a full-out assault on the heavily armed fortress. But inside, he’ll discover not one but two of these virtually indestructible warriors. Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren), Deveraux’s vicious UniSol enemy from the original Universal Soldier, has been secretly reanimated and upgraded. Now, these elite fighters are locked, loaded and programmed to kill; and the fate of millions hinges on this high-action showdown.”
The movie looks a bit cheesy and outdated… The first Universal Soldier movie was really something new, it did bring something to the world of science fiction. But Universal Soldier 3 is just a bland variation on an old theme… I’d suggest to watch Gamer again than the movie Universal Soldier 3 if you really want to watch an explosive sci-fi action movie.
