Date Night Movie Trailer

Date Night Movie TrailerSteve Carell and Tina Fey are teaming up in Date Night, an upcoming comedy movie directed by Shawn Levy. Here’s the official movie trailer of Date Night:

DATE NIGHT

These are the Fosters, this is their life…
And this is the night they’ll never forget!

One night can change your life!

Plot:
“Claire and Phil Foster are a suburban couple slogging through their daily lives and marriage. Even their ‘date nights’ of dinner and a movie have become routine. To reignite the marital spark, they visit a trendy Manhattan bistro, where a case of mistaken identity hurtles them through the city at breakneck speeds, into non-stop adventure. Remembering what made them so special together, Phil and Claire take on a couple of corrupt cops, a top-level mobster and a crazed cabbie as their date becomes a night they’ll never forget.”

The movie Date Night looks a funny and thrilling adventure through New York by night! Besides Tina Fey looks sweet: Steve Carell always manages to star in movies with beautiful actresses!

Extraordinary Measures Movie Trailer

Extraordinary Measures MovieThe movie trailer of Extraordinary Measures, an upcoming drama movie starring Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser, has been released:

EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES

Inspired by a true story

They had everything to lose, so they risked it all.

Don’t hope for a miracle: make one!

Plot:
“John Crowley (Brendan Fraser) has finally begun to taste success in corporate America. Supported by his wife Aileen (Keri Russell) and their three children, John is on the fast track. But just as his career is taking off, Crowley’s two youngest children, Megan and Patrick, are diagnosed with a fatal disease. Crowley who does not want to give up decides then to team up with a brilliant, but unappreciated and unconventional scientist, Dr. Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford). Together they form a bio-tech company focused on developing a life-saving drug. One driven to prove himself and his theories, the other by a chance to save his children, this unlikely alliance eventually develops into mutual respect as they battle the medical and business establishments in a fight against the system – and time.
The fate of John’s children is at stake.”

I’d say that Extraordinary Measures is like the movie Taken: it’s about a father who’s ready to anything to save his children, just that the enemy here is a nasty genetic disorder. I think Extraordinary Measures will be a quite interesting movie. And if lucky, it will make more people aware that we need to fund research to fight against those genetic disorders!

The Yellow Handkerchief is a human movie about real people and about their emotions, it’s a road movie about life!

Kristen Stewart as Martine in The Yellow Handkerchief

For those who are wondering: The Yellow Handkerchief was filmed in 2007, before the twilight mania boosted Kristen Stewart’s movie career. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008, and is now getting an official release.

Planet 51 Clip

Planet 51A second clip of Planet has shown up online:

Planet 51 Movie

Planet 51 – You speak my language!

Plot:
“In this family film, an alien planet, stuck in the culture of the 1950’s, finds its barely-repressed paranoia kick-started into high gear when Chuck, a NASA astronaut, arrives without warning and turns their world upside down.”

Hollywood usually avoid raising this issue: but hell it’s less than unlikely that aliens would speak English on a first contact… Wonder how the movie Planet 51 is going to explain where those aliens learned to speak English.
