Well it’s been a long wait. This movie adaptation has been under works for so long! Anyway, the trailer looks great, let’s hope the film won’t disappoint.

Director James Cameron once expressed his interest in developing a live-action movie adaptation of Battle Angel, Yukito Kishiro’s popular action science-fiction manga series. But that project went nowhere so far because the director is too busy preparing the sequels to Avatar.

But 20th Century Fox announced that Director Robert Rodriguez (the man behind Sin City and Machete) will now take over the project. There’s also a new official title: “Alita Battle Angel”.

Plot:
“A story set in the future, it revolves around Alita, a female cyborg turned mercenary who’s trying to remember her past.”
