Director Jonathan Liebesman (who helmed the Killing Room and Battle Los Angeles) has been hired by Warner Bros to helm the movie sequel to Clash of the Titans.

The plot of Clash of the Titans 2 hasn’t been announced yet, but Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton will most likely reprise their roles as Perseus and Io in the movie Clash of the Titans 2.

Director Louis Leterrier said he’s got a trilogy in mind for Clash of the Titans. So if the first is a success, he’s likely to work on Clash of the Titans 2:

I wonder if Sam Worthington will still be at the center of this movie sequel to Clash of the Titans. But knowing how the studios, I guess they’d rather have the same lead character. So I suppose Sam Worthington will reprise his role as Perseus in the movie Clash of the Titans 2.
