A first clip of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has aired during Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, you may watch it below (the clip starts at the 4:13 mark):
Django Unchained – Meet the horses of Django and Dr. King Schultz!
Plot:
“With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.”
I can hardly recognize Don Johnson as Mr. Bennet, a plantation owner. He looks so old by now… He’s just a shell of what he used to be in the TV series Nash Bridges….
:)

And a new funky movie trailer for the film:
Plot synopsis:
“Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.”
Jamie Foxx as Django, the slave turned bounty hunter, and Christoph Waltz, as his mentor, make for a great duo. But I’m more interested in seeing Leonardo DiCaprio: he’s once again proving to the world that he’s a goddamn talented actor!

Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie, the proprietor of ‘Candyland’, an infamous plantation where slaves are groomed by trainer Ace Woody (Kurt Russell) to battle each other for sport. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen(Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave. Their moves are marked, and a treacherous organization closes in on them. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda, they must choose between independence and solidarity, between sacrifice and survival..
