A first official look at Actress in Eleanor Worthington-Cox as he the titular character in Gwen (aka The Dark Outside), the upcoming drama mystery movie written and directed by William McGregor:

Plot synopsis:
“In the stark beauty of 19th Century Snowdonia a young girl (Eleanor Worthington-Cox) tries desperately to hold her home together. Struggling with her mother’s mysterious illness, her father’s absence and a ruthless mining company encroaching on their land. A growing darkness begins to take grip of her home, and the suspicious local community turns on Gwen and her family.”

Never heard of Snowdonia? Well, it’s a mountainous region in northwestern Wales in the UK.

Besides Eleanor Worthington-Cox, the cast also includes Maxine Peake, Richard Harrington, Mark Lewis Jones, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Richard Elfyn, Gwion Glyn, and Jodie Innes.
