A second trailer of Marmaduke, the upcoming live-action movie about the famous comic-strip dog, has shown up:

For their enormous Great Dane ‘Marmaduke’, (voiced by Owen Wilson) however, the move means a whole new way of life. It’s chaos at home and awkward at work as the Winslows struggle to control their angsty teenage canine.”
Marmaduke is like a four-legged tornado that wreaks havoc everything around, but he still manages to look so a cute dog, even if he’s a bit huge!

Owen Wilson lends his voice to a dog to in the upcoming Marmaduke movie based on the comic stripe of teh same name. Here’s the first Marmaduke movie trailer:

I’m already fan of this dog! there is something about him that can but catch your attention. There’s no doubt that the movie Marmaduke is going to be hilarious. Not sure the film will be the best vehicle to promote the Great Dane breed though, it will rather deter people from buying one…

Director Tom Dey is working on a live-action movie adaptation of Marmaduke, the popular comic strip about Marmaduke the funny Great Dane Dog. The film will be told from the viewpoint of Marmaduke. It will be released on June 4, 2010.

Director Tom Dey compares his Marmaduke film to a coming of age comedy movie:
“We’ve approached the movie like a John Hughes movie with dogs. The dog park is like high school for dogs. To make this kind of movie, you really have to understand that it is the dog’s world and we just live in it.

This Marmaduke movie could well be funny: that dog and his ears make me smile already. And knowing that Actor Owen Wilson is lending his voice to Marmaduke, I’m quite sure it’s going to be hilarious!
Besides Owen Wilson the film is also starring Emma Stone, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Ron Perlman, Judy Greer, Anjelah Johnson, Lee Pace and Steve Coogan.
By the way, a movie trailer of Marmaduke is likely to be shown in front of Alvin and the Chipmunks 2.
