Here’s the official plot synopsis of My Zoe, the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Julie Delpy (who’s picture above in the movie 2 Years Ago) and starring Daniel Brühl, Julie Delpy, Gemma Arterton, Richard Armitage, Lior Ashkenazi, and Sophia Ally:
Plot synopsis:
“Isabelle (Julie Delpy) is a geneticist recovering from a toxic marriage and is raising her only daughter Zoe in conjunction with her ex-husband. Zoe means everything to her mother, but when tragedy strikes the fractured family, Isabelle takes matters into her own hands.”

“I started thinking and taking notes about this film over 20 years ago. It first came to my mind discussing with Krzysztof Kieslowski about parenting, love and fate. The film is about the unconditional love you feel as a parent. It was a very profound process to write it. I gave it all the truth I had and I hope it resonates with others.”
