We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of River, the upcoming drama thriller movie written and directed by Jamie M. Dagg and starring Rossif Sutherland, Douangmany Soliphanh, Sara Botsford, and Vithaya Pansringarm:

“In the south of Laos, an American doctor (Rossif Sutherland) becomes a fugitive after he intervenes in the sexual assault of a young woman. When the assailant’s body is pulled from the Mekong River, things quickly spiral out of control.”

I heard people get framed quite often by the local police in those third world countries in South East Asia, so I can understand why this chap would want to do a runner. Do you think he will make it out alive and well?
