Damn, sounds like Clarke thinks there’s no hope of redemption for mankind… Why is she so negative? She is kind of giving up, isn’t she?

The premiere date of The 100’s third season is set to January 21, 2016 on the CW.

The 100 is a new science-fiction TV series set 97 years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization. It’s based on the yet-to-be-published novel of the same name written by Kass Morgan. Watch the official trailer below:

“In the future, humans live in citylike spaceships orbiting far above Earth’s toxic atmosphere. No one knows when, or even if, the long-abandoned planet will be habitable again. But faced with dwindling resources and a growing populace, government leaders know they must reclaim their homeland…before it’s too late.
Now, one hundred juvenile delinquents are being sent on a high-stakes mission to recolonize Earth. After a brutal crash landing, the teens arrive on a savagely beautiful planet they’ve only seen from space. If they have no idea what’s waiting for them down there then sending robot and highly trained soldiers would be a smarter move than sending a bunch of juvenile delinquents. But I guess they hope the teens to fornicate and rut like rabbits just to repopulate Earth as soon as possible…
