There’s anew Hunger Games movie ahead of us. yep, get ready for The Hunger Games Sunrise on the Reaping, a prequel movie based on the novel of the same name written by Suzanne Collins:

Plot synopsis:
“This prequel explores Panem 24 years before Katniss’ saga, starting on the morning of the reaping for the 50th Hunger Games, where a young Haymitch Abernathy participates.”

I can feel the heat just from watching this teaser trailer, lol.

Director Francis Lawrence is in charge of the movie adaptation and Billy Ray returns to pen the script.

The release date of the movie The Hunger Games Sunrise on the Reaping is set to November 20, 2026 (in theaters).
