Plot synopsis:
“The film revolves around Ann Lee (portrayed by Amanda Seyfried), the founding leader of the Shaker Movement, proclaimed as the female Christ by her followers. It depicts her establishment of a utopian society and the Shakers’ worship through song and dance. Based on real events.”

Is this a natural trance? Or a psychedelic-induced experience? Well, I guess both, religions is the opium of the people after all, isn’t it?

The film will be released in theaters on December 25, 2025.
