Let’s watch the first official movie trailer of Unfinished Song (previously titled Song for Marion), the upcoming drama comedy movie written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams and starring Terrence Stamp, Gemma Arterton, Vanessa Redgrave and Christopher Eccleston:

Plot:
“Unfinished Song is a London-set comedic drama, about grumpy pensioner Arthur (Terence Stamp) who is reluctantly inspired by his beloved wife Marion (Vanessa Redgrave) to join a highly unconventional local choir. At odds with his son James (Christopher Eccleston) it is left to choir director Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton) to try and persuade Arthur that he can learn to embrace life. Arthur must confront the undercurrents of his own grumbling persona as he embarks on a hilarious, life-affirming journey of musical self discovery.”

So basically it’s a heartwarming tale about a grumpy old man who learns to let his defenses down. Well, that grumpy old man played by Terence Stamp was probably saner than those people from the choir. But I still want to see this funny film.

Unfinished Song will open in theaters on February 8, 2013.
