This new featurette of Pacific Rim, Guillermo Del Toro’s latest science-fiction movie, focuses on the Kaijus, the giant alien monsters that are invading Earth:
“When an alien attack threatens the Earth’s existence, giant robots piloted by humans are deployed to fight off the menace.”
The Kaijus come to Earth through a Portal located somewhere in the pacific ocean. The portal opened following an earthquake.
Would nuking the breach close the portal? And stop the Kaiju invasion?
