In Secret Movie Trailer

We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of In Secret (previously titled Therese), the upcoming period drama movie directed by Charlie Stratton and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton, Oscar Isaac, and Jessica Lange:

IN SECRET
Plot:
“A tale of obsessive love, adultery and revenge set in the lower depths of 1860s Paris. Therese (Elizabeth Olsen), a sexually repressed beautiful young woman, is trapped into a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin, Camille (Tom Felton), by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin (Jessica Lange). Therese spends her days confined behind the counter of a small shop and her evenings watching Madame play dominos with an eclectic group. After she meets her husband’s alluring childhood friend, Laurent (Oscar Isaac), she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences.”

Therese’s sickly husband does look like a dork, no wonder she’s lusting for the artist!

The release date of In Secret is set to February 21, 2014.

Noah – When God goes psycho!

We’ve got our hands on the Japanese trailer of Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, the upcoming fantasy movie starring Russell Crowe in the titular role:

So those people from ancient time were so corrupt that a damn angry god wanted to kill them all? I really doubt those people were more corrupt than we are nowadays… So should we be worried? Will that psycho god try to get rid of mankind again? Or did his son save us all for good?

Frankenstein Movie starring Daniel Radcliffe as Igor

Actor Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted on the set of Frankenstein, the new movie adaptation of Mary Shelley’s cult novel in which he plays the role of Igor, Frankenstein’s assistant:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

This new version of Frankenstein is based on a script by Max Landis (the scriptwriter of Chronicle). It should focus more on the characters’ backstories, especially Igor’s. A few words from Max Landis about his take:

“I began to pick apart our knowledge of Frankenstein and discovered that the public’s idea of this myth comes from a million different places…I became committed to recontextualizing it all so it all worked in one story. By the end of the day, yeah it’s a period piece, yes it’s from Igor’s perspective, but man it’s cool…”

Scriptwriter Max Landis

The film is directed by Paul McGuigan. Besides Daniel Radcliffe, the film is also starring James McAvoy, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Bronson Webb.

The release date of Frankenstein is set to January 16, 2015.
